RN – Emergency Department The Emergency Department at St. Anthony Hospital, a Magnet® designated Level I Trauma Center, treats over 58,000 visits each year in a 46‑bed facility serving Denver and surrounding areas. The ED is a Joint Commission Comprehensive Stroke Center and a cardiac receiving center, and it hosts Flight for Life® Colorado. Compensation & Benefits Pay range: $33.15 – $59.67 per hour . Eligible candidates may receive a sign‑on bonus of up to $20,000 and relocation assistance of up to $8,000, depending on location. Job Responsibilities Facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the healthcare team, patients, and families to identify and meet their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Promote optimal health and safety of patients through the nursing process, in accordance with patient‑care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act. Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship‑based care, organizational mission, and core values. Qualifications Education Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or endorsement accepted. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates; preferred for experienced RNs. Experience Minimum one year of RN experience in an ED or comparable acute setting. Specialty‑specific nursing skills and knowledge. Licenses & Certifications RN license required; current state license or valid RN license in a National Licensure Compact participating state. BLS (American Heart Association). ACLS (American Heart Association). ENPC or PALS, NIHSS, NRP, TNCC (or within one year of hire). Physical Requirements Medium workload: may require lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, or 10 lbs constantly. Location Lakewood, Colorado.
