Registered Nurse - Pediatric Surgical Unit
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a Pediatric Surgical Unit. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a high-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to pediatric surgical patients in an acute care setting.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate on patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards of care.
- Engage in patient and family education regarding care procedures and health maintenance.
Schedule
This position involves a combination of 8-hour and 12-hour evening shifts, with the requirement to participate in on-call duties. Rotational coverage for weekend and holiday shifts is expected.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current BLS certification.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Experience in a pediatric surgical or critical care setting preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
