The Clinical Support Specialist will oversee students in their clinical rotations in the hospital setting per the guidelines in place by the college in the adjunct faculty handbook, job description, and course description as well as the guidelines of the organization they are assigned to. Duties and tasks include overseeing students in their clinical rotations and providing support to students during clinical hours.

Required KSAs include flexibility and ability to prioritize and work independently, excellent interpersonal skills, excellent analytical skills, excellent oral/written communication skills, critical thinking and clinical judgement skills, ability to use instructional technology, and ability to teach a diverse student population.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree with a major in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution, holds a current license or multistate licensure privilege to practice nursing in VA as a registered nurse, and at least two years direct client care experience as a registered nurse.
