You will work closely with a team of skilled clinicians in a collaborative atmosphere that prioritizes both patient and staff well-being.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:Assessing patients referred by physicians, evaluating their physical ability, and developing tailored treatment plans aimed at rehabilitation and prevention.Implementing a range of therapeutic interventions across various specialties such as orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine.Providing in-clinic and home-based therapy that uses proven techniques to enhance patients' functional abilities, aligning with their physician's treatment guidelines.Demonstrating outstanding customer service to ensure a positive experience for each patient.Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive patient care strategies that achieve optimal outcomes.Educating patients and their caregivers on exercises, strategies, and health maintenance to advance their recovery.Tracking and documenting patient progress while meeting the establishment's utilization goals and business objectives.Patient Population / Client FocusYou will work with a diverse range of patients who seek physical therapy for various conditions, including post-surgical recovery, chronic pain management, and sport-related injuries. Your role is crucial in fostering an environment where patients feel supported and empowered to take charge of their healing journey.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.A valid State License to practice Physical Therapy.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.Preferred ExperienceWhile a Bachelor's degree is required, candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and at least two years of hands-on experience in a clinical setting will be preferred.
