Child Nutrition Technician

Position Description POSITION TITLE: Child Nutrition Technician FLSA: Non-Exempt QUALIFICATIONS:
- Requires lifting a minimum of 40lbs to include boxes, supplies, and heavy cooking pans.
- Ability to read and comprehend distinct policies, operating manuals, and reference materials.
- Ability to work around exposures related to job.
- Must not present a risk of injury to self or others.
- Must be able to perform tasks that require a repetitive motion with upper torso.
- Cook, clean, and maintain assigned areas, keeping such areas in excellent condition.
- Preparation and serving of meals.
- Cleaning of all food areas, sweeping, and mopping.
- Storing of all supplies received.
- Keep dirty laundry washed and dried.
- Clean and sanitize restroom.
- Empty and clean trash receptacles.
- Follow all district safety procedures.
- Perform other duties and assume other responsibilities as may be required to accomplish essential job functions as directed by the appropriate administrator(s).
- Promote a positive professional image.
