Yard Driver Night Shift Class A

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Yard Truck Driver in Bradenton, FL — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. The wages for this position are $900 or more per week, paid weekly. You will receive benefits after 30 days. Pay & Schedule Weekly pay: $900+ Hourly pay: $22.50 per hour (when applicable) Average 40 hours per week Schedule: Monday – Friday, start time 6:00 PM Route: Local – Home Daily Truck type: Day Cab/yard truck (automatic) Trailer: Dry Van 53’ Freight: No Touch Responsibilities Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, agency rules, standards, and guidelines Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs Loading/unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer Performing other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum 21 years of age Pass Ryder drug test, background and motor vehicle check, DOT physical, and road test Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements Class A verifiable experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months experience within the past 3 years 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures Benefits Medical, Dental & Vision after 30 days 80 hours PTO first year (use it or get paid for it) Uniforms, cell phone & boot allowance provided 401(k) rollover available now + company match at 1 year 12 weeks paid maternity leave (subject to eligibility) Employee discounts on tools, vehicles, travel, tech & more Additional Information For more details about our driving opportunities, visit Ryder will purchase your truck and support you if you become a company driver.
