Corporate Accountant

Biotechnology company seeks Corporate Accountant to support a variety of general ledger, revenue, and financial reporting activities. The role offers exposure to cross-functional partners across Accounting, Finance, and other areas of the business.Is your CV ready If so, and you are confident this is the role for you, make sure to apply asap.ResponsibilitiesPerform a variety of accounting activities, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedulesSupport revenue and receivables accounting, including analysis of sales, deductions, accruals, and related balance sheet accountsPrepare and analyze balance sheet account reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of reconciling itemsPartner with Finance and other internal teams to ensure the completeness and accuracy of accruals, reclasses, and other accounting entriesAnalyze financial results, investigate period-over-period fluctuations, and prepare variance explanations for managementSupport ERP system implementation, optimization, testing, and process improvement initiativesIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes through automation, technology, and data analyticsMaintain compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable financial reporting requirementsSupport SOX compliance activities, including documentation and control executionAssist with internal and external audit requestsParticipate in special projects, financial analyses, and other continuous improvement initiativesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field1–3 years of relevant accounting, audit, general ledger, or corporate accounting experiencePublic accounting and/or experience xhyhwjd within a large or complex organization is a plusCPA or active pursuit of CPA licensure requiredStrong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principlesAnalytical mindset with the ability to investigate financial data and draw sound conclusionsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentCollaborative team player who can also work independently and proactively identify solutionsInterest in technology, automation, and process improvement
