As the first person many residents, families, visitors, and prospective residents meet, our Concierge plays an important role in creating the warm and welcoming experience we want everyone to feel when they walk through our doors.

This is more than answering phones and greeting visitors. You will get to know our residents, assist families and guests, support community events, help connect people with the right team members, and serve as an important part of the daily life of our senior living community.

What You’ll Do

As our Concierge, you will serve as a welcoming and knowledgeable first point of contact for residents, families, guests, prospective residents, vendors, and community partners.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Warmly greet residents, families, visitors, prospective residents, vendors, and other guests

• Create a professional, welcoming, and hospitality-focused front desk experience

• Answer and direct incoming telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner

• Manage visitor and vendor sign-in and sign-out procedures

• Notify residents and team members when guests arrive

• Receive and coordinate deliveries, packages, flowers, and other resident items

• Assist residents with questions and requests and connect them with the appropriate team member when needed

• Provide general community and marketing information to prospective residents and visitors

• Support the Activities team with event and program reservations

• Collect applicable program or event fees and maintain accurate records

• Maintain and update resident information and community phone lists

• Assist with general administrative and clerical responsibilities

• Communicate important information to appropriate departments and team members

• Support other departments when needed to provide an exceptional resident experience

• Maintain resident confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately

• Attend required staff meetings and training programs

• Perform other duties as assigned

• Maintain regular and dependable attendance

Schedule

We are currently hiring for the following schedule:

Friday 11:30pm to 7:30am (one 30-minute break) 

Saturday 7:30pm to 730am (two 30-minute breaks)

Sunday 7:30pm to 7:30am  (two 30-minute breaks)

Schedules may occasionally change based on the needs of the community. Team members will be provided appropriate notice whenever possible.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required

• At least one year of experience in concierge services, hospitality, front desk, reception, customer service, senior living, hotels, resorts, healthcare, or a related environment preferred

• Warm, friendly, and professional personality

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

• Ability to communicate professionally with residents, families, visitors, prospective residents, and team members

• Comfortable answering phones and assisting multiple people throughout the day

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion when handling resident information

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• A genuine desire to work with and serve older adults

• Ability to communicate effectively in English as required to perform the essential functions of the position

• Spanish-speaking skills are helpful but not required
