ToolmakerEastridge Workforce Solutions is partnering with a well-established aerospace manufacturer in Huntington Beach to hire a skilled Toolmaker. This position offers an exceptional level of scheduling flexibility and is ideal for experienced toolmakers seeking either part-time or full-time employment.The selected candidate will be responsible for operating manual machine tools to manufacture, repair, and modify precision tooling and components while independently supporting daily machine shop operations.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate manual (conventional) lathes, mills and other toolroom equipment.Manufacture, repair, and modify tooling, fixtures, and precision machined components.Machine metal and composite materials while maintaining close tolerances.Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.Inspect completed parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are met.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe machine shop environment.Manage daily machine shop activities with minimal supervision.QualificationsExperience as a Toolmaker, Tool & Die Maker, or Manual Machinist in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency operating manual (conventional) lathes and other manual machine tools.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and machine precision components to close tolerances.Experience machining metal materials; experience with composite materials is a plus.Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.PreferredAerospace manufacturing experience.Experience machining aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, Inconel, or composite materials.Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards and aerospace manufacturing practices.Retired toolmakers seeking a flexible work schedule are encouraged to apply.BenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision401(k)Paid Time OffFlexible work scheduleCompetitive compensation based on experience
