About the Job Responsibilities: Review of raw material inventories, monitoring of the life of the raw material, and inspection of its physical condition according to the supplier's technical data sheets. Cleaning inspection of work areas, the state of machinery and work tools, and the personal protective equipment of employees. Daily review and administration of the HACCP and SQF books, complying with the quality standards of the plant. Following USDA inspectors, HACCP, and SSOP standards Assignment of activities to the butcher and packer to cover the sales requirements. Coordinate the creation of new items, ensuring the optimal costing of them (Yields). Ensure daily deliveries (in time and form) of finished product. Monitor production levels, the availability of raw materials, and plan and allocate daily activities. Administration of reports of assistance, incidents, accidents, repairs, and requests for inputs and raw materials. Coordinate and supervise the training and certification necessary for employees. Surveillance of production activities, assistance, and personnel safety. Receipt of returns and coordination of re-packaging processes, prepared or reprocessed as needed. Responsible for inventory control of warehouse products and ensuring correct FIFO rotation. Job Requirements: Education: Technical career or a minimum of 2 years of manufacturing plant experience Domain Tools: Computing packages: Office Certificates and accreditations: HACCP Preferred Skills and competencies: Conflict management, task approach, collaborative, action-oriented. Working conditions: Working for long periods of time, standing, and in a cold environment SUPERVISE AND PROVIDE OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY INFORMATION. Distribute health and safety information to employees regarding occupational hazards in their area of work; ensure personnel are properly trained in safety practices and follow through production hours. Provide induction and refresher courses with the help of the Compliance team to ensure the ability of assigned personnel to address occupational health and safety responsibilities, including workplace hazards, safe operating procedures, and the use and maintenance of safety equipment and emergency response procedures.
