REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager & Lead-Hand
JOB FUNCTION: Assist with fabrication of industrial materials
EXPERIENCE IN FABRICATION OF LIKE ITEMS AN ASSET
HOURS: Various
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Fabricate and assemble structural metal products according to job order and blueprint
- Locate and mark bending and cutting lines onto piece
- Set up and operate fabricating machines
- Verify measures of pieces to specifications, using square, ruler, and measuring tape
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
- Basic knowledge of industrial fabrication
- Steel fabrication experience a huge asset
- Have a strong mechanical and problem solving aptitude.
- Meet schedules and time lines.
- High school education
- Clean criminal record
- safety work boots are mandatory.
- Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy
