Intellectual Property attorney

We are seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join a growing Intellectual Property practice. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with expertise in IP portfolio management, patent and trademark prosecution, technology transactions, and strategic IP counseling who is passionate about helping businesses, startups, and innovators protect and commercialize their intellectual property.

• Counsel clients on intellectual property strategy, portfolio development, and risk management.
• Prepare, file, and prosecute patent and trademark applications.
• Conduct trademark clearance searches and provide branding and trademark counseling.
• Manage patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret portfolios.
• Draft and negotiate licensing, technology transfer, SaaS, software, confidentiality, and other commercial technology agreements.
• Perform IP due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, financing transactions, licensing deals, and other corporate transactions.
• Advise clients on IP ownership, commercialization, licensing, enforcement, and protection strategies.
• Draft invention assignment agreements, confidentiality agreements, and technology-related employment documents.
• Handle intellectual property enforcement matters involving patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and domain name disputes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary legal teams to develop customized IP strategies aligned with clients' business objectives.

• Active membership in good standing in Arizona
• 5+ years of Intellectual Property law experience.
• Experience with patent prosecution, trademark prosecution and counseling, copyright registration, licensing and technology agreements, IP due diligence, trade secrets, or IP litigation/enforcement.
• Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple client matters and deadlines.
