If you are a compassionate and reliable individual with a passion for patient care, we encourage you to join our team!About the RoleAs a Patient Transportation Driver, you will be responsible for:Safely transporting residents to and from medical appointments, social activities, and other outingsEnsuring the comfort and safety of residents during transportationMaintaining accurate records of transportation trips and resident informationCollaborating with the care team to ensure seamless communication and coordinationAdhering to driving and transportation policies and proceduresResponsibilitiesDrive company vehicles to transport residents to and from medical appointments, social activities, and other outingsPerform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working conditionMaintain accurate records of transportation trips, including resident information and any incidents that may occurCommunicate with the care team and other staff members to ensure seamless coordination and careProvide exceptional customer service to residents and their familiesAdhere to driving and transportation policies and proceduresRequirementsCPR Certification preferred, or willing to obtainPrior experience in a healthcare or transportation setting preferredValid driver's licenseAbility to work varying schedules, including days, evenings, and weekendsAbility to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelinesAt North Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center, we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, competitive pay, and opportunities for growth and development.
