AI Security Governance Manager

Working within the cybersecurity organization, you will support the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of controls that address evolving AI-related risks.You will collaborate with technology, security, risk, and compliance partners to evaluate adherence to security standards, inform risk-based decisions, and drive remediation and exception-management activities. Your analytical thinking, adaptability, and ability to solve complex problems will support risk assessments, audits, regulatory examinations, and evidence collection. By staying current with emerging threats and governance practices, you will help Schwab securely adopt AI capabilities while maintaining alignment with established policies, regulatory expectations, and the firm’s commitment to responsible innovation.What you haveRequired qualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field7+ years of experience in technology operations or security operations1+ years of experience supporting artificial intelligence or machine learning systemsUnderstanding of the artificial intelligence and machine learning lifecycle, technology governance, and related security implicationsExperience applying Cybersecurity, Risk Management, Risk Assessment, and Analytical Thinking to complex technology decisionsAbility to demonstrate Leadership, Communication, and Cross-Functional Collaboration across technology, security, risk, and compliance teamsPreferred qualificationsFamiliarity with financial services regulations, risk frameworks, and Regulatory ComplianceExperience with Data Governance, Cloud Services Management, or secure Software Development Life Cycle practicesExperience supporting security controls, audits, regulatory examinations, remediation tracking, or exception-management processesAdaptability and a commitment to Continuous Learning as artificial intelligence technologies, threats, and governance practices evolveIn addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.Job SummaryRequisition ID: 2026-127716Posted Date: 16 hours ago(10/7/2026 2:35 PM)Category: TechnologySalary Range: USD $115,000.00 - $150,000.00 / YearApplication deadline: 10/16/2026Position Type: Full time
