Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday-Wednesday schedule from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM (three 12-hour shifts per week)

• No on-call responsibilities

• Perform technical procedures in a fast-paced Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center

• Utilize CT technology to create diagnostic images for patients

• Perform CT exams on outpatients, inpatients, emergency room patients, and research patients

• Assist with specialized CT scan-guided procedures

• Work with trauma patients, emergency patients, stable inpatients, and intensive care patients

• Must be graduate of approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School and high school graduate

• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or possess limited permit required

• Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR or CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer certification required

• Practice and enforce radiation safety measures per New York State Department of Health code part 16

• Entry level position with limited or no experience accepted

• Support teaching and continue learning as technology advances
