Inova Mount Vernon Hospital – Medical Surgical is looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician 1 to join the team. 

\n

This schedule for this role will be Part -Time | Days | 7:00AM – 7:30PM | Rotating days, weekends & holidays |

\n

Clinical Technician 1 – Job Responsibilities :

\n

•            Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurses.

\n

•            Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors. 

\n

•            Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.

\n

•            May perform additional duties as assigned

\n

 

\n

Training : Must be available for six (6) non-consecutive weeks of paid training, consisting of:

\n

Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)

\n

Classroom-style sessions: 8AM – 4:30PM (6 shifts total)

\n

Virtual training modules.

\n

On-unit shifts

\n

 

\n

Minimum Qualifications:

\n

•            Education : High School diploma or equivalent.

\n

•            Certification : Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire 

\n

•            Special Skills : Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English

\n

•            Physical Requirements : Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
