Position Summary:
The Warehouse Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving inbound shipments, verifying freight against shipping documents, entering data into inventory systems, and ensuring accurate stock records. This role supports warehouse operations by maintaining inventory accuracy and coordinating with carriers and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect inbound shipments, including 18-wheeler containers and freight on chassis
• Verify bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping documents for accuracy
• Enter shipment details into warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software
• Inspect goods for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues promptly
• Coordinate dock scheduling and communicate with drivers and carriers
• Label, tag, and route products to appropriate storage locations
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified)
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies
• Keep receiving area clean, organized, and efficient

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bilingual English and Spanish
• Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred
• Experience entering data into inventory or ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, WMS systems)
• Good communication skills
