JOB SUMMARY

Provides technical and clinical support to licensed Anesthesiologists and Nurse Anesthetists in various clinical settings, including Operating Rooms, Pre‑operative areas, Post Anesthesia Care Units, and Procedural areas (Endoscopy, Interventional and/or Diagnostic Radiology), Ambulatory Surgery sites, Dental suites, and hospital units for emergencies. Supports routine and emergency surgical cases by assisting with the preparation and maintenance of patient equipment and anesthesia delivery systems. Key Responsibilities Assist with patient transportation, positioning, insertion of intravenous and other invasive lines, and airway management within the anesthesia technician scope of practice and under direct supervision. Prepare, maintain, and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment and delivery systems. Ensure availability of sterile supplies and equipment for anesthesia procedures. Respond to emergency situations and assist with life support as directed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Transport equipment and supplies to and from assigned areas. Document services provided as required by facility policy. Schedule / Shift

Weekends/Holidays rotate Required Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent 2 years of experience working as an anesthesia technician BLS certification Preferred Qualifications Graduate of an ASATT approved program Certifications BLS Experience 2 years of experience working as an anesthesia technician Skills Direct patient care support Anesthesia equipment operation and maintenance Airway management assistance Invasive line insertion assistance Emergency response EMR / Systems Cerner Patient Population All ages, as applicable to surgical and procedural cases. Unit / Specialty Anesthesia Techs Operating Rooms Pre‑operative areas Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Procedural areas (Endoscopy, Interventional and/or Diagnostic Radiology) Ambulatory Surgery sites Dental suites Floating / On-Call Floating: Cover all Anesthesia locations.
