Clinical Genetic Counselor-Assistant Professor-Human Genetics

Position Overview Assistant Professor – Clinical Track (Clinical Excellence Pathway) in the Division of Human Genetics at The Ohio State University. The role focuses on clinical genetic counseling, research on rare disease, and teaching/mentoring of students, residents, and fellows. Responsibilities Clinical faculty members dedicate their time to academic clinical practice, education, and translational research in adult genetic specialties. Responsibilities include: Provision of clinical genetic services in general genetics clinics Teaching genetic counseling graduate students, medical students, residents, and fellows Participation in genetic research programs Education and Experience Requirements Master’s Degree in Genetic Counseling and professional board certification in genetic counseling.
