About the Position

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: South Carolina license preferred Certifications: BLS, ARRT (R), SCQRS Must-Have: General Interventional Radiology experience Description: Position/Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist. Shift consists of Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The daily caseload per technologist is 4 cases. On-call requirements are included, with rotation among two other technologists. Weekend coverage is required every third weekend. No floating between units is needed to meet facility needs. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. Experience with general IR cases is required. Preferred experience includes neuro IR cases. A radiation badge is required and must be provided by the agency. Travelers should be aware of potential emergency response assignments during hurricane season, from June to November. Travelers must not confirm a new assignment during hurricane season if it poses a scheduling conflict.
