Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a fulfilling contract position for the 2026–2027 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting middle and elementary school students. This onsite role involves working full-time (40 hours per week) within a dynamic and collaborative school environment. You’ll manage a caseload of approximately 35 students, providing high-quality speech and language evaluations, therapy, and IEP development in partnership with educational staff and families.

Your expertise will play a pivotal role in fostering student communication skills and supporting their educational success. This opportunity is perfect for professionals with a passion for helping students achieve their full potential in a supportive, team-oriented setting.

Qualifications:

  • Active Texas SLP license required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
  • Previous experience in a school-based role, particularly with elementary or middle school-age children, is advantageous
  • Proficiency in conducting comprehensive speech-language evaluations and developing IEP goals
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation abilities
  • Reliable transportation to assigned campus sites

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of around 35 students, delivering direct and indirect speech-language services
  • Conduct evaluations and collaborate on the development of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Work closely and communicate effectively with special education staff, teachers, administrators, and families
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress and adherence to compliance guidelines
