Medical Provider - Physician / Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

GD Resources LLC is seeking a qualified Physician, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant to provide onsite primary and preventive medical services to a youth and young-adult population, generally ages 16 24 , in Nemo, South Dakota.

The selected provider will deliver routine medical care, conduct examinations and assessments, diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, prescribe medications, provide health education, and coordinate referrals and follow-up care. BO+Medical+SOW_Draft

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial physical examinations and health assessments.
• Review medical and applicant records.
• Develop appropriate medical treatment plans.
• Diagnose and treat minor illnesses, including respiratory infections, cold and flu symptoms, and other episodic conditions.
• Provide first aid and CPR when required.
• Diagnose and manage chronic health conditions and disabilities.
• Provide treatment for acute medical conditions.
• Prescribe controlled and non-controlled medications within applicable scope of practice.
• Administer or support required immunizations, screenings, and laboratory testing.
• Provide preventive care, health promotion, education, and family-planning support.
• Establish referrals for students requiring specialty or emergency medical care.
• Coordinate medical care with other healthcare, wellness, counseling, and support professionals.
• Document diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, encounters, and other medical information accurately and promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of medical records and comply with HIPAA requirements.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and medical file reviews when requested.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement activities.
• Provide periodic health education to staff and students.
• Assist with infection-control compliance.
• Provide monthly updates regarding significant health-related matters, medical needs, supply requirements, and other relevant issues.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a qualified Physician, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant .
• Must possess an active and unrestricted license to practice independently in South Dakota , as applicable to the professional discipline.
• Must maintain all required licenses, certifications, accreditations, and insurance throughout the assignment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
• Ability to provide medical care to youth and young adults approximately 16 24 years of age .
• Knowledge of evidence-based healthcare practices.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and applicable federal and state requirements.

Schedule

Medical services are generally expected one or two days per week , Monday through Friday, with hours coordinated in advance. A reasonable schedule is between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM . Actual service hours may vary depending on the needs of the population. BO+Medical+SOW_Draft

Additional Requirements

Selected candidates may be required to:

• Complete a criminal background check.
• Complete drug screening if required.
• Maintain professional liability/malpractice insurance.
• Maintain appropriate general liability insurance.
