CBS Sacramento is looking for an experienced Newscast Producer who thrives on setting the news agenda for Northern California. You will work closely with our team of managers, anchors, reporters, photographers, editors and fellow journalists to craft engaging shows. OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Originate, research, write, produce and edit compelling news segments for television and digital platforms. Excellent ability to produce live breaking news. Demonstrate adaptability and composure in fast-paced situations within the control room. Adopt change and innovation, by seeking new ideas and approaches to connect with our audience. Ensure accurate grammar, spelling and attention to detail in all content produced. and utilize the AR/VR space in new and creative ways. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: At least 3 years of broadcast or cable news experience. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Experience on INEWS/ENPS or equivalent news computer system.
