We are looking for a dedicated Locum Physician to join Bon Secours - St. Francis Downtown in Greenville, SC, for a short-term assignment that challenges your skills and broadens your impact. Required Skills: MD or DO degree with active medical license in South Carolina or eligible for licensure Board certification or eligibility in Cardiothoracic Surgery Proven experience performing aneurysm repairs, coronary artery bypass grafts (CABG), and heart valve replacements Proficiency with EPIC EMR system Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to work independently in a hospital rounding environment and handle surgical procedures as required Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience in a locum or temporary physician role Ability to perform additional cardiothoracic procedures Familiarity with hospital protocols and multidisciplinary teams Bilingual abilities a plus Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree from an accredited institution Completion of fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery At least 3 years of post-residency experience in cardiac surgery Valid and current medical license in South Carolina or eligible for licensure Other Requirements: Availability for coverage starting July 3, 2026, through early morning on July 6, 2026 Reliable transportation for travel reimbursement purposes Willingness to participate in call rotations (details to be announced) Certification in ACLS and BLS preferred Travel expenses including flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rates This is an exceptional opportunity to showcase your expertise and make a meaningful difference in patient lives.
