Tax Manager - ASC740

A mid-sized accounting firm committed to providing exceptional client accounting services is currently recruiting a talented individual to join their team as a Tax Manager (ASC740).

Reports to: Senior Tax Manager - ASC740

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the 12-month cycle of corporate clients, including review of income tax returns, extension, and estimated tax calculations
• Provide consulting and tax-saving strategies to clients.
• Prepare and review book entries for quarterly and annual financial reporting.
• Assist in process improvement and identify opportunities for increased automation.
• Develop and maintain client relationships by providing high quality service that exceeds clients expectations.
• Assist with managing, training, and developing staff.
• Manage a team of 6.

Key experience and skills:

• CPA license required.
• 5+ years of Tax experience in a public accounting firm focusing on ASC740 with privately held clients
• International tax experience (tax returns, extensions and calculations) subject to ASC740
• Bachelors degree in accounting, MST preferred.
