Role Description The Assistant Manager role at Mania Jeans is a full-time, on-site position based in Miami, FL. The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, merchandising, and inventory management. This role helps lead and coach the sales team, ensuring strong customer service, efficient workflow, and adherence to company policies and visual standards. The Assistant Manager monitors sales performance, assists with scheduling, and participates in hiring, training, and ongoing development of team members. The position also involves addressing customer concerns, maintaining a safe and clean store environment, and supporting promotional activities to drive store traffic and revenue. Qualifications Experience in retail or customer-facing roles, with strong customer service and relationship-building skills. Background in team leadership, including coaching, performance feedback, and support of daily staff supervision. Knowledge of basic retail operations such as cash handling, inventory control, and merchandising standards. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Comfort using point-of-sale systems and basic office software for reporting and scheduling. Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise, and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Prior experience in fashion retail or apparel merchandising is preferred but not required.
