Day in the Life of a Medical Receptionist Providing excellent customer service while checking in patients Receiving payments and assisting in daily operations Maintaining a friendly, professional attitude toward patients and offering a “white glove” experience Guiding new patients through the intake process and providing an exceptional experience Collecting urine and saliva samples for patient drug screens as needed Maintaining daily financial records and reports Coordinating with medical and clinical staff to coordinate intakes Providing clerical and logistical support Overseeing patient accounts and financial responsibilities Education and Experience Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Customer Service experience in a fast‑paced environment preferred Experience in healthcare, addiction medicine, or office administration preferred Lived Addiction experience is a plus Schedule Tuesday 12:00pm–5:00pm; Wednesday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm Position Benefits Have a daily impact on many lives Excellent training for those new to this field Mileage reimbursement (if applicable) at the current IRS mileage reimbursement rate Community events that promote belonging and education, including community cook outs, fairs related to addiction treatment and outreach, parades, addiction awareness for schools, and holiday events Opportunity to save lives every day #J-18808-Ljbffr Treatment Centers Hold Co, LLC
