A skilled Pharmacist is needed for two night shift positions at a 460-bed Level I trauma center located near Midlothian, VA. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic clinical environment where critical care and trauma patients are treated with cutting-edge resources and technology. The facility uses advanced systems including Meditech Magic, Vigilanz, Dose Edge, and Pyxis to support pharmacy operations.

Schedule & Hours:

• Night shift: 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Week-on/week-off rotation (7 days on, 7 days off)

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily tasks
• Consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapy and patient care
• Apply pharmacokinetics principles to optimize dosing and treatment plans

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current Virginia Pharmacist license is required
• Experience working in a hospital or trauma center pharmacy preferred
• Proficiency with Meditech Magic, Vigilanz, Dose Edge, and Pyxis software systems a plus
• Strong communication and clinical consultation skills
