Overview
We are seeking an energetic and strategic Service Production Manager to lead our service operations with passion and precision. This role ensures efficient repair operations, maintains high customer satisfaction, supports technician performance, and helps achieve departmental sales and profitability goals. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end Your leadership will drive continuous process improvements, foster a high-performing team, and contribute to the growth of our business

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily service shop production and workflow.
• Monitor repair order progress and technician efficiency.
• Dispatch work to technicians based on skill level and availability.
• Ensure vehicles are completed on time and according to manufacturer standards.
• Coordinate with service advisors, parts department, and warranty administrators.
• Track labor sales, productivity, comeback rates, and shop performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with dealership policies, safety regulations, and OEM procedures.
• Assist with technician training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Resolve escalated customer service concerns related to repairs or delays.
• Help maintain shop cleanliness, organization, and operational efficiency.
• Support service department profitability goals and expense control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; automotive or business degree preferred.
• 5 years of automotive dealership service experience.
• Previous leadership or production management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dealership operations and repair processes.
• Experience with dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Tekion, etc.).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
