Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in labor and delivery and be able to provide comprehensive care in a critical access facility setting.

Shift Details

Shift: Night - 7 PM to 7 AM
Ratios:
- Days: 1:3
- Nights: 1:2-3
- Weekends: 1:2-3
Average Daily Census: 1-2 patients

Job Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of experience in labor and delivery
Certifications Required:
- BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Certifications Preferred: AWHONN Intermediate
Must be able to care for all aspects of labor and delivery, including:
- Triage antepartum
- Intrapartum care
- Postpartum care
- Newborn care
Skills Required: Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) and IV start
Willingness to float to units outside of OB to assist with patient care
Must be comfortable monitoring mental health patients and assisting with vital signs, toileting, and repositioning on medical/surgical units

Scheduling and Availability

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend preferred; flexible options available
RTO Restrictions: Ideally, no more than 5 days
Open to block schedule accommodations

Guaranteed hours for travel candidates: 36 hours for 12-hour shifts, 40 hours for shifts less than 12-hours
