Job Opportunity

Position Summary

This role involves the evaluation, planning, and provision of treatment upon referral from a physician. The successful candidate will treat patients with disabilities, disorders, and injuries to alleviate pain and restore or maintain physical function utilizing various therapeutic techniques such as exercise, massage, heat, cold, air, light, water, electricity, or sound. Collaboration with family members and the healthcare team will be essential in addressing patient abilities and goals.

Education

Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association accredited institution.
Licensure requirements as a Physical Therapist as set forth by the Oregon State Board of Health.
Current valid Oregon driver's license.
Current CPR certification.

Experience

While experience is desired, it is not mandatory if all educational and licensure requirements are met.

Job Knowledge

The ideal candidate must possess comprehensive knowledge of therapy procedures, as well as current orthopedic and neurological follow-up procedures and rehabilitation practices. A positive attitude, effective communication skills, and strong team collaboration abilities are essential.

Skills

Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills, including locating and opening documents, completing forms, and sending emails.

Working Conditions

This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, Monday through Thursday.
