Phlebotomist Per Diem

Phlebotomist – Toms River, NJ Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Toms River, NJ. Work Schedule: Casual/per diem position; hours will be as needed from Monday‑Friday 7:00am–2:00pm and rotating Saturdays 6:30am–11:30am. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Enter patient data accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed. Travel to additional sites when required. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program, or three months or more of experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications Six months or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification/training from an accredited agency if no work experience. Proven record of exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Pay Range Pay Range: $17.75 - $26.00 per hour Benefits Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), PTO or FTO, Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled for less than 20 hours per week, casual, intern, and temporary employees are eligible only to participate in the 401(k) plan. Employees scheduled for a 7 on/7 off cycle are eligible for all benefits except PTO or FTO.
