Senior Data Modeler/ Architect

Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is seeking a Senior Data Modeler/ Architect to join their team. As a Senior Data Modeler/ Architect, you will be part of the Data Management Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and problem-solving abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Washington, DC/ Chicago, IL/ Denver, CO/ Charlotte, NC/ Addison, TX (5 days onsite every week)

Pay Range: $70/hr

Project Details:

• Fast-paced environment, deliver commitments within two-week sprints

Skillset:

• Do not need FS experience
• Technical leadership
• Hands-on modeling experience, not just a thought leader
• Previous Data Engineering experience is useful, not just data modeling experience

Data mapping/ lineage

Support work around data dictionaries

Python programming language

Work on Oracle, Hadoop, Starburst platforms

Responsibilities:

• Consulting on projects/ working with project stakeholders
• Partner with data governance team
• Understand the data- identity & access management, ALL focused on cyber security data NOT banking data
• Develop common information model
• Understand integration and migration patterns
• Take GIS data and transfer it to other systems
