Revenue Accountant

Revenue AccountantWe are seeking a detail-oriented Revenue Accountant to support revenue accounting operations and month-end/quarter-end close activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting foundation, knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, support process improvements, maintain SOX compliance, and participate in system implementation and automation initiatives.Responsibilities:Support monthly and quarterly revenue accounting close activities, including:Preparing and posting revenue-related journal entries.Performing account reconciliations.Preparing management reports and revenue analysis.Maintaining supporting schedules and documentation.Assist with system implementation projects by executing testing and validating accounting system designs.Support automation initiatives by leveraging AI models and other tools to validate system functionality and reporting accuracy.Prepare and review SOX controls related to revenue accounting on a monthly and quarterly basis.Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and documentation requirements.Update and maintain process documentation as business processes evolve.Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, corporate accounting policies, and ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.Experience:1–2 years of accounting experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, or revenue accounting.Strong understanding of accounting principles and ASC 606 revenue recognition.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis.Experience with a Big Four accounting firm or public accounting environment.Experience using SAP or another enterprise ERP system (Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, etc.).Exposure to financial systems implementation or ERP testing.Experience supporting automation initiatives or working with AI-enabled tools.Knowledge of SOX compliance and internal controls.Skillsets:Revenue AccountingASC 606U.S. GAAPMonth-End & Quarter-End CloseEducation:Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.About US Tech Solutions: US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
