Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and organized Healthcare Administrative Assistant to support daily administrative operations in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate has strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and a patient-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to healthcare staff and department leadership.
• Answer incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate department.
• Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records.
• Assist with data entry, document preparation, filing, and general office organization.
• Communicate with patients, providers, and insurance representatives as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow HIPAA guidelines.
• Support additional administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Previous administrative experience required; healthcare or medical office experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, dependable, and patient-focused approach.
• Bilingual in English & Spanish or English & Portuguese

Compensation: Up to $23 per hour, depending on experience.
