What this job involves:As a Senior Project Manager – Healthcare Construction at JLL, you will be responsible for overseeing complex healthcare construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires leading and managing multiple healthcare construction projects simultaneously including new builds, renovations, and expansions while developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans. You'll coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met while overseeing the procurement process including contractor selection and contract negotiation. Your expertise in healthcare regulations, building codes, and safety standards will be essential in maintaining compliance throughout all project phases while conducting weekly site visits and inspections to maintain quality control.What your day-to-day will look like:Lead and manage multiple healthcare construction projects simultaneously including new builds, renovations, and expansionsDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans while coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholdersOversee procurement process including contractor selection and contract negotiationMonitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on trackEnsure compliance with healthcare regulations, building codes, and safety standardsConduct weekly site visits and inspections to maintain quality control while providing weekly field reportsPrepare and present weekly project status reports to client and senior managementMentor and guide junior project managers and team members while staying current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in healthcare constructionRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field7+ years of experience in project management with focus on healthcare construction projectsStrong knowledge of healthcare regulations including HIPAA and Joint Commission standardsExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suiteAbility to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawingsUnderstanding of healthcare facility operations and compliance requirementsExperience with complex project coordination and stakeholder managementPreferred Qualifications:Experience with sustainability and LEED certification in healthcare projectsKnowledge of healthcare construction protocols (ICRA, ILSM)Understanding of medical equipment planning and infrastructure requirementsExperience with occupied healthcare facility constructionAdvanced project management certification (PMP, CCM)Knowledge of healthcare technology systems and integrationExperience mentoring and developing junior project management staffUnderstanding of clinical workflow and patient care considerationsLocation:Multiple healthcare facility locations with weekly site visits requiredThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
