Life Insurance Agents ( Will Train)

Job Description

A part-time life insurance agent consults with clients, explains policy options, and sells life insurance coverage while maintaining a flexible schedule of roughly 5 to 25 hours per week. [1, 2]

Key Responsibilities

Client Consultation: Assess customer financial goals, risk levels, and family needs to recommend ideal term, whole, or universal life insurance policies. [1, 2, 3]
Sales and Prospecting: Generate leads through networking, referrals, or provided databases during evening and weekend hours. [1, 2, 3]
Application Processing: Complete policy applications, calculate premium quotes, and guide clients through underwriting and medical requirements. [1, 2]
Customer Support: Answer policyholder questions regarding billing, beneficiary updates, and claims processing. [1, 2]

Qualifications and Requirements

Licensing: Active State Life Producer License (or willingness to complete pre-licensing coursework and pass the state exam).
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
Skills: Strong interpersonal communication, self-motivation, basic computer literacy, and time management.
Experience: Previous customer service or sales background is helpful, though entry-level candidates are widely accepted. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
