As a welder, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting the production of ultra-high purity systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, reliability, and a strong commitment to safety, which will align successfully within the organization.Job Title: Welder (TIG/Orbital Welding)Location: San Luis Obispo, CAPay Range: $24-25/hrShift: Monday - Friday, 2nd Shift (3pm-11:30pm)What's the Job?Perform welding tasks on components used in ultra high purity systems, including tack welding, orbital welding, and lathe welding.Follow engineering drawings, specifications, and instructions to produce high-quality, precise welds.Utilize TIG welding, orbital welding, and lathe welding equipment to assemble tubing and fittings.Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and work instructions.Participate in routine operations, maintain cleanliness, and support 6S responsibilities to ensure efficiency and safety.What's Needed?High school diploma or GED equivalent.At least 1 year of TIG welding experience with stainless steel.Ability to interpret drawings and instructions accurately.Physical ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.Strong attention to detail, dependability, and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.What's in it for me?Competitive hourly pay within the range of $24-25, based on skills and experience.10% shift differential for hours worked on the 2nd shift.Opportunity to work in a collaborative and innovative environment.Chance to develop specialized skills in ultra-high purity system manufacturing.Supportive team culture that values safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
