Procurement Associate

Position Title: Procurement Associate Work Location: North Chicago, IL 60064 Hybrid (Tuesday-Thursday Onsite | Monday & Friday Remote/Flexible) Assignment Duration: 12 Months Work Arrangement: Onsite Position Summary This position supports the Facilities Procurement organization with a primary focus on procurement sourcing and contracting support rather than transactional purchasing or Procure-to-Pay (P2P) activities. Background & Context The selected candidate will support RFPs, contract negotiations, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), supplier contracting activities, stakeholder management, contract lifecycle management, and sourcing-event support. Key Responsibilities Support sourcing and contracting activities including RFPs and contract negotiations. Review supplier agreements and help determine which suppliers currently have contracts in place, contract expiration dates, upcoming sourcing or contracting needs, and recommended next steps from a contracting perspective. Download, review, compare, and organize contract-related information and help provide visibility into future contract requirements. Frequent interaction with Legal teams, business stakeholders, Procurement partners, and Suppliers. Support sourcing events within Coupa. Provide tactical sourcing support, contracting support, and administrative sourcing support throughout the procurement process. May participate in sourcing-strategy discussions. Qualification & Experience Strong sourcing experience. Strong contracting experience. Experience running RFPs. Experience supporting sourcing events. Experience negotiating and facilitating contracts. Experience working with Master Service Agreements (MSAs). Experience partnering with legal teams and business stakeholders. Experience managing supplier-contract lifecycles. Minimum 5+ years of procurement experience. Strong problem-solving capability. Strong stakeholder-management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field. Facilities procurement experience. Coupa sourcing experience. Coupa contracting experience. Facility-services category experience. Indirect procurement experience. Experience reviewing contract redlines. Experience working with attorneys and legal teams during contract negotiations. Understanding of contract repositories and contract-management processes. #J-18808-Ljbffr
