Birch Agency is seeking dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teachers to support students across elementary and middle school settings for the 20262027 school year. This full-time, in-person opportunity is ideal for educators who are passionate about helping students achieve academic, behavioral, and social success within a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:Provide individualized and small-group instruction aligned with student IEP goals
Develop, implement, and monitor IEP accommodations and modifications
Support students with diverse learning, behavioral, and communication needs
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Utilize effective classroom management and instructional strategies
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs
Commitment to student growth and success
