Coleto Brands, parent Company of Progress Lighting and Kichler, is seeking to fill a  General Warehouse Associate – Inventory Control position at our  Progress Lighting – Jefferson, GA location for 1st Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30PM), Monday through Friday, overtime as needed . The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for performing all functions necessary to maintain accurate inventory, by cycle counting, performing other miscellaneous audits and investigation of count discrepancies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform cycle counts and miscellaneous inventory audits to ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy.
• Ensure products are in proper locations, conduct searches to locate missing inventory.
• Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventory.
• Research and perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommend process improvements.
• Conduct third party vendor audits to agree quantity and part number for received material.
• Execute assignments accurately and timely in a safe manner.
• Prepare various reports relative to the cycle counting process.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience:

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Excellent math and analytical skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication.
• Understanding of basic inventory control procedures
• Certification in Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) operation preferred
• Working knowledge of SAP
• 1-2  years’ experience in distribution or warehouse setting
• Ability to shift operational priorities and business needs
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively

Requirements:

• Must be able and willing to operate Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment at elevated heights of up to 35 feet
• Must be able and willing to work overtime as required, including extended shifts and/or weekends
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
