About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join its mission-driven organization. The COO will be a key leader in the strategic execution of the company's priorities, with a focus on developing a long-term sustainable business model and cultivating a unified, values-driven culture. This role requires a candidate with a strong background in operational leadership, including functional management across areas such as IT, people and culture, finance, and facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company's internal operations, ensuring that resources are effectively allocated to advance mission priorities, and leading major organizational change initiatives. Candidates for the COO position at the company should have a proven track record in translating strategic plans into tangible goals, experience in change management, and a deep understanding of advanced business and nonprofit planning processes. The role demands exceptional people and operational leadership skills, as well as the ability to foster collaboration and build consensus across diverse teams. A bachelor's degree is required, with an MBA or advanced degree in a related field being a plus. The COO will also be expected to have a strong proficiency in technology and experience in facilities management, with a preference for those who have worked effectively with small, rural communities.
