Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Emergency Department RNSchedule: Days; every other weekend required; typically 4–6 weekend shifts per contract.Assignment Details: 15-week assignment; hard start on 12/14.Requirements:Valid California RN license required at time of submission.Minimum 2 years RN experience.Travel experience required.Patient ratio experience of 4:1.Advanced EKG exam required prior to/at start with a score of 80% or greater (two attempts permitted prior to start).ACLS, BLS, CPI, and PALS certifications required.Cerner or EPIC experience required.Preferred trauma Level I/II experience.Additional certifications: NIHSS, TNCC, OCN (as applicable).Responsibilities:Provide emergency care to adult and pediatric patients, including triage.Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and provide STEMI and stroke care.Manage arterial and central lines, including blood product administration.Administer IV therapies, including vasopressors and sedation.Care for ventilated patients, including CPAP/BiPAP management and ABG interpretation.Support neuro and trauma care, including monitoring ICP and managing traumatic injuries.Compliance / Notes:References and copies of required certifications must be included with submission. Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions allowed. RTO must be included on submission; no RTO during the first two weeks of assignment. Maximum of 3 days RTO allowed during contract. Must be willing to work holidays. Once RTO submitted, it cannot be changed except to cancel requested time.
