Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility setting
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and clinical goals
Document patient progress, treatment plans, and discharge summaries in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs

Required Qualifications

Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
Current and valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Oregon
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA or eligibility
Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
Current BLS/CPR certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior travel or contract therapy experience
Familiarity with MDS documentation and Medicare/Medicaid compliance in SNF environments
Experience with dysphagia assessment and treatment including modified barium swallow studies
