Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of clients and develop tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Implement a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting strategies to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Document client progress meticulously in compliance with HIPAA regulations, maintaining organized and confidential clinical records.
  • Engage in collaborative treatment planning, working alongside psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Facilitate case consultations and participate in peer review sessions regularly to share insights and improve the overall quality of care.
  • Empower clients and their families by providing education about mental health issues, guiding them towards appropriate resources and support networks.
  • Stay abreast of current research and developments in the mental health field to continuously enhance your practice.
  • Manage a full caseload of clients, ensuring timely interventions and upholding ethical standards as defined by relevant licensing boards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of clients experiencing various mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relational issues. Qualifications

  • A Master's degree or a doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • An active professional license (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) to practice in New Jersey.
  • Proficient knowledge of solution-focused therapy techniques and interventions.
  • Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills that foster rapport with clients and collaboration with colleagues.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and critical thinking skills to navigate complex clinical situations.
  • A collaborative mindset, valuing the contributions of your peers in a shared goal of providing exceptional mental health care.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in telehealth counseling and familiarity with virtual therapy platforms.
  • Previous involvement in multi-disciplinary treatment teams.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $80,000 to $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience, with potential for bonuses.
