Report to: HSE Manager Work model: Onsite , Mebane, NC Your Role and Responsibilities Reporting HSE incidents to management and relevant stakeholders and taking appropriate actions. Facilitating, assisting, and providing guidance on incident investigations to learn better ways for mitigating risks. Providing feedback to management and employees on lessons learned and best practices from within their own unit and across ABB. Supporting and driving behavioral change through local implementation of group-wide and business-specific performance improvement programs and practices. Qualifications Bachelor degree PLUS minimum 5 years HSE related experience preferred. Certification and training in Safety, preferred. Knowledge of local HSE regulations, preferred. Skills in database management systems and MS Office. Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US. Benefits Choice between two medical plan options: Copay Plan (PPO) or High Deductible Health Plan with a Health Savings Account. Choice between two dental plan options: Core and Core Plus. Vision benefit. Company paid life insurance (2X base pay). Company paid AD&D (1X base pay). Voluntary life and AD&D – 100% employee paid up to maximums. Short Term Disability – up to 26 weeks – Company paid. Long Term Disability – 60% of pay – Company paid, ability to buy-up to 66 2/3%. Supplemental benefits – 100% employee paid (Accident insurance, hospital indemnity, critical illness, pet insurance). Paid Parental Leave. Employee Assistance Program. Health Advocate support resources for mental/behavioral health, general health navigation, virtual health, and infertility/adoption. Employee discount program.
