The ideal candidate will have experience in acute care settings and a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care.Job DetailsStart Date: ASAPDuration: 13 weeksShift: Days, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PMWeekends and holidays: RequiredFloating: Between Med Surg and Tele departments onlyResponsibilitiesDeliver patient care through effective nursing processes including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.Coordinate all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.Administer medications using bedside scanning and maintain accurate medical records.QualificationsRecent experience in an acute care setting is required.Current BLS certification is mandatory.Recent experience with Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) system preferred.Experience managing Med Surg patients with remote telemetry monitoring.A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience and at least 2 completed travel assignments are required.Unit InformationNumber of Beds: 35Monthly Department Volume: 810Types of Services Provided: Med Surg, Remote Tele, Orthopedic, Post-operative Care, Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), Respiratory.Patient Ratio: 1 Nurse to 6-7 Patients; Patient Care Technicians (PCT) assigned to 14 patients.Scrub Color: Navy BlueIf you meet the above qualifications and are ready to take on this rewarding role, we encourage you to apply.
