Occupational Therapist - Occupational Therapy

Schedule
Shift: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30
Guaranteed hours: 40/week
Weekend & holiday rotation required

Assignment Details
Unit types: Ortho, Neuro, ICU, Telemetry, Med-Surg
Total staffed beds: 69

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of OT experience
- State OT license
- BLS certification
- Experience with adult care, adaptive equipment, hip fractures, total hip replacement, total knee replacement, and knee injuries
- Proficiency in lifting/transfers, assessment/evaluation, patient & family education, safety/injury prevention, and documentation
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system preferred

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and assess patients to develop tailored treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic interventions to promote optimal recovery
- Educate patients and families on injury prevention and recovery strategies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately

Compliance / Notes
- Floating may occur within service line and scope
- Parking available in designated employee areas
- Scrub attire: black top or scrub top with tan pants/scrub pants
