This full-time contract opportunity is for an experienced Special Education Teacher who can begin as soon as possible. Work with a cross-categorical caseload of approximately 18 students, helping each one achieve their full potential through individualized instruction and collaboration.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education
• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience with high school-aged students and cross-categorical caseloads preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and staff
• Ability to create engaging, differentiated lesson plans tailored to student needs
• Adaptability and organizational skills for managing documentation and instructional schedules

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for a diverse group of students
• Deliver direct instruction in both small groups and one-on-one settings, adapting strategies for varied learning styles
• Collect and analyze student data to track progress and adjust teaching approaches
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster a supportive learning environment
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with all state and federal regulations
• Participate in relevant meetings, ongoing professional development, and school initiatives
• Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom culture that encourages academic and personal growth
