The position involves floating across multiple critical care units, including Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac / Heart and Vascular, Neurology, Medicine, and COVID-19 units. The role requires skilled and independent nursing professionals capable of adapting to various inpatient settings while maintaining excellent clinical standards. Job Details Location: Saint Louis, MO Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: 2 years of ICU experience, valid ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC charting system, trauma level I experience, CVICU experience, and specialized skill sets such as hemodynamic interpretation, ECMO, CRRT, and vasoactive drips Float Requirements: Will float to inpatient floors when needed with ratios of no more than 1:3; may float to non‑critical care units and serve as a patient sitter if necessary Additional Responsibilities: Manage a nursing ratio of 2:1 on ICU units; strong clinical acumen required for complex procedures and patient management in multiple critical care settings License Requirements: MO license submission and matching residence for compact states; IL license required at time of submittal Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years ICU experience; past EPIC experience preferred Travel Experience: Required Facility & Patient Care Details: Serving adult and geriatric patient populations with a focus on trauma, oncology, cardiac, neurology, and COVID‑19 Compliance & Certification: ACLS required by the hard deadline; no additional certification requirements specified at the time of submittal Additional Notes: No local candidates accepted within 75 miles; travelers will float within the service line and may be asked to work in various units based on staffing needs; no RTO allowed during the first week of assignment.
